How do I cure my dogs anxiety without drugs or religion?
I didn’t used to have anxiety, I just had problems. Sure, nowadays my food and shelter is pretty much taken care of, so that frees me up to worry about all sorts of things I have no control over. Anxiety really makes me nostalgic for problems because problems have solutions.
That’s me, now imagine your dog. Also fed and sheltered, but living in a world that’s neither made for them or super easy to understand.
They don’t have the luxuries of drugs or religion to ease the fact that they have no control and everything is scary.
So what do you do? On the dog walkers companion I talked to Johanna Hardin about anxiety, what is is and what it isn’t.
