I was 9 years old when I got my first dog. His name was Spot. My parents chose to chain Spot to a tree outside because they were Hillbillies, and that was pretty much the end of training.

 I knew it wasn’t right then, but as a 9 year old my arguments were much weaker and couldn’t be backed up by science. 

 I have a background as a stand up comedian (www.TimCorn.Net)  I don’t take myself too seriously and believe that is key when you are building a strong connection with your dog.  

Dog training and Stand up comedy are both about  communicating and pretending you have confidence. I am in a unique position to teach you both!

You can focus less on feeling anxious, awkward or uncertain and more focused on connecting and building your relationship with your dog. 

 I have worked with all sorts of dogs. Hyper, aggressive, young, old I have experience in dog daycares, rescue shelters, dog walking businesses, hotel training, dog transport, pet nutrition and dog training. 

I am a self taught trainer, immersing myself in self study and field experience. I believe in positive, judgement free dog training  and an emphasis on connection, compassion and communication. 

I subscribe to the belief that the dog training should be affordable, accessible and effective. My training technique is founded in patience, non-judgment and adaptability. 

I love dogs and the people who own them. Dogs are as complex as we are and can act as funny little mirrors to ourselves. Dogs cultivate joy and bring life to a home.
